The terrace seating and ambiance is very nice. The hotel itself is very neat with great lighting. For what we paid for our dinner, the service and food could have been much better. It took a long time just to order food. Our drinks took a while and as we were about to to give our food order, our waitress disappeared. My husband had to get up twice and go to find our waitress just to get the bill or order food. It was a weekday and there wasn’t a rush of a ton of restaurant patrons. The firecracker shrimp was alright, but very oily. The blackened chicken sandwich had a nicely toasted pretzel bun and initially looked appetizing, yet the chicken itself was as dry as the Sahara desert. You could tell it was a slightly old pre cooked frozen chicken breast. It wasn’t worth the charge of $15.
Staff are always nice but waited over 20 minutes to order, over an hour waiting for food, and then the missing food was delivered after everyone else was done eating. Seems they are understaffed and no management or leadership at all. Definitely not what you would expect from a Hilton.
My family and I went here for Sunday brunch for Father’s Day, as we entered we were immediately greeted by Yaya (the manager) which made us feel very pleasant. Well that’s where the pleasantry ended, first the place was not busy so we were able chose our own seat which was nice. Our server JoJo was not welcoming at all but we did not let this ruin our morning. She took our drink order and she got that wrong that should have been a sign. There were only 4 of us! She then took our food order but she didn’t write anything down, so that meant she had to come ask us twice what we actually ordered. After waiting 20 minutes for our food, the order is wrong and she proceeds to tell us they did not have one of the menu items we ordered. AS WE ARE GETTING OUR FOOD!! She never apologizes just walks away. We had no silverware on the table and absolutely no condiments were offered to us. After speaking with the manager, Yaya, she apologized but made lame excuses as to the service. We were not offered any compensation only to take off what we did not receive (which is a no brainer). The ambience is amazing, but I will never dine here again. Totally ruined my husband’s Father’s Day.
Small menu but food was good Nice way to start the day if you choose to eat outside. Breakfast over looking the downtown square. Price is on par with any hotel restaurant. In the evenings the bar is open. Mixed crowd. Good music. Not bad for a hotel bar.
Brand spanking newly opened. Impressive projection screen and nice bar. Open seating and plenty of room to move around. Some drink specials which were good in concept. One recommendation is to not use a drink with egg whites when it’s prepared or drank outside. Has a wet dog smell unfortunately but that’s definitely a small oversight. This place will be a great success I am sure. They were still working out the speakers and I am not even sure it had its grand opening yet or not. If your downtown, check it out. There’s an amazing overlooking view of the square!
