There was no food, so couldnt really rate that but everything else was fantastic! The whole place looked like my teenage best friends bedroom. 🤣 Cant wait to go back! The drinks were awesome, priced well and the whole vibe was just...there. Met some really cool patrons while visiting as well. The photos are of just the bathroom. Lol

Came here with a group of friends and had an overall good time. Pretty decently priced compared to other places in the area, its easy to have a good time here. Staff was friendly and top of things. Feel of the bar was pretty basic though. They have an area outside for smoking, and an area for a small band, otherwise, nothing really to do besides drink and party. No pool tables or darts."
We were hoping for food nearby being that it was in a major hub, but after midnight the only food nearby was wafflehouse.

I have been going to this bar somewhat regularly for about 1.5-2 years now (I don’t go out much but when I do it’s been this bar) ive always had a great time and a great vibes. Especially on theme nights. I’ve almost always had a male bartender and never had such a bad experience as tonight. I am being very specific on the bartenders because I love this bar very much on theme nights and this review is on tonight’s bartender. I walked up with my 20 year old friend who sat at an outside table to wait for me (since he’s only 20 obviously) I walked in and got one $6 drink and I handed the female bartender working $4 cash as a tip, I took my drink, chatted with somebody in the bar and then went and sat with my friend outside while I drank it and we talked. Another friend (25m) showed up to meet us and I walked back in with him and got a sprite for $4 for my friend outside and left a $1 tip. (The friend inside with me informed me he bought one shot and left a 40% tip.) I brought my glass back in and went for a walk. an hour or two later I went back hoping to buy a second drink and was immediately told upon my entering to leave, when I went next door confused I was informed that both affiliated bars (mutiny and tipsy skipper) were to refuse me service. I decided to go back inside mutiny to ask the bartender what I did wrong. She said “I don’t work for free” thinking maybe she confused me with someone else I said “I ordered a $6 drink and handed you a $4 cash tip” I was then told “that doesn’t count and the other girl didn’t tip. I’m tired of working for free.” Confused and honestly- starting to cry- I left in a fluster wondering who “the other girl” was and why my 75% and 25% tips apparently weren’t ideal.
That being said, my service tonight went to onmalleys alley up the block for my second and last drink of the night. Which I highly recommend to anyone reading this if you have service like this at mutiny.

I’ve been to this bar for live music many times. They are unfortunately using AI for most of their flyers promoting their events now. For a supposedly punk bar that likes to engage with that subculture, they are clearly okay with using something that is completely antithetical to it. Left a comment on a cross posted flyer with a band on Instagram saying as much and they responded with profanity on their main account. I’m sure I’ll get a response here with more of it or perhaps saying I’m taking myself too seriously or it’s not that deep. Unfortunately it is and I wish more people cared, this establishment certainly doesn’t.

Excellent staff very welcoming! Burlesque show on Sundays. Awesome crowd and comfortable seating! Ocala is turning out to be a very diverse experience in the horse capital of the world.
