Honest review… when they brought my sandwich to my table my first thought was “wow this is huge” but then I opened it and seen that the meat was piled in the middle and there was a lot of bread. The Cuban sandwich was decent. Not the best but it wasn’t the worst. The fries were good. Complementary fried plantains were good. Very pricey $$$. I give 4 stars because I left full and the staff was nice and the place was clean. Food was average. I wouldn’t go back to be honest. This is my opinion.
Ordered a croqueta preparada and it had a single slice of ham and half a slice of swiss cheese. The sandwich wasn't even pressed, it was toasted. The congri was bland, the colada had zero foam and taste old. For the price i paid I'd expect the food to be better. I understand the community in the area might not be familiar with what real Cuban food looks or taste like but this is highway robbery. I'd call it Cuban inspired at best.
Had the Cubano and it was delicious, great pork and bread, a but thick but still very good!
The food here is super yummy. I had beef empanadas with black beans, my wife had a Cuban sandwich with French fries! Everything was super tasty! Only thing I wish is the size of to go for the spicy green salsas! Wish they were bigger, however it’s a easy fix, just ask for a extra ones! Highly recommend this local owned restaurant!! Love support small mom and pop businesses!
We just stopped in for lunch after moving back to the area and were so excited to have found such amazing Cuban food! Great depth of flavor and kind service!
