Worth the drive!
Decided to bring the wife to one of my favorite little Italian diners in Ocala. We walked in and were greeted by the hostess and she seated us quickly. The place was not exceptionally busy with plenty of tables available.
The waitress took our drink order and even joked with us for a bit of fun. She quickly returned with our drinks and took our order.
A note about the menu. It is simple and has all the standard fare. I chose the Chicken Parmesan and the wife got the eggplant Parmesan.
While waiting for our order the waitress dropped off a basket of garlic knots. They are warm Italian bread rolls, seasoned with butter, garlic and basil, which made for a Really nice flavor.
Dinner arrived maybe ten minutes later. Hot and well plated with a nice presentation. My Chicken was tender and juicy and the pasta was cooked just right. My NY Italian wife stated that her eggplant was done correctly, which is high praise.
A note about the marinara sauce. It had a bright and mildly sweet flavor with just a little bit of tang that went well with the pasta. Portions were generous as we were both able to only eat about half. The waitress was gracious enough to pack our food for us which was really nice.
They had multiple options and we decided to order some limoncello cake to share for dessert. The cake was light and had a good flavor. It was a nice way to end the meal.
Overall this was a good experience. For the price the food is fantastic. The service was wonderful.

OMG, this is what they call eggplant?!?! Order 31$ white pizza, comes with 4 cheeses, supposed fresh garlic ( still looking for it ) and eggplant that’s a 16th of an inch thick and looks like a pita bread chip out of a bag. So disappointed I thought this place was supposed to be better than pronto. Went there because pronto was closed but won’t make that mistake again. If you’re an eggplant lover like me then you know what eggplant should taste like what the consistency should be. There should be a little seeds and it should be a little mushy and it should have some flavor well look at the video and photo to see what they consider to be a $31 pizza. I could’ve bought groceries for half the week with that. The only thing good I can say is that the cheese was good but for the likes of me, I can only taste one flavor of cheese in this pizza, not four. Oh and by the way, I got charged four dollars and changed for what they consider to be eggplant. And three dollars for a few pieces of tomato.

For sure the best pizza I’ve had in Ocala so far & I’ve tried a couple places. Not floppy at all and crunchy, the cheese & pepperoni was so good! Definitely recommend!

Ok this pizza is LEGIT! Like seriously. If you are like me, and just moved to Ocala recently and have been trying different pizza spots in a seemingly endless attempt to find something that tastes like the pizza your used to, look no further! Stop going to other places in town only to be disappointed (especially wise guys) Just stop it. Go here instead!

Pizza tasted well. The sauce tasted fresh had little bit of cheese pull. The pepperoni was sandwich style. They cook on screens so crust not as crisp as I prefer
