Very nice find! Our first visit to this place, and we were not disappointed. Cool vibe and decor. Friendly and helpful staff. Oh, and 28 taps of Florida craft beer! We sat at the bar, so we could see all the taps, and the techy digital draft menu board. Fantastic food; not your typical bar fare. I had the Cuban and house slaw. My wife had the prime rib sandwich and "potato boats" (baked). Portions are generous, and fairly-priced for what you get. I tried a hazy IPA, red lager, and a brown ale from their great draft selection. Flights of 4 available. Saw a "boatload" of cans available, as well. Unfortunately, we live about 40 minutes away, but will definitely be back when we're in the area. Worth the trip!

Great spot! stopped here on a road trip and everything was great. Malory was a Great server, very pleasant and attentive, she gave us great beer recommendations and labeled the beer for us when giving samples. The food was great, the atmosphere was great. 10/10 recommend.

Absolutely loved it! Great selection of drinks. The food is absolutely amazing. We were meeting someone half way between Tampa and Jacksonville, this was the perfect spot. I would drive out here again, just to eat the food. Highly recommend.

My first time here and I was impressed. Every meal that was brought was fast and on point. The food was mouth watering and the staff was friendly! I never had octopus and it was delicious!

I would love to visit The Flying Boat Tap Room more often than I do. Unfortunately, being that I live in TN., my dining opportunities are limited to my annual visits to Ocala during the week of the Sun N' Fun Airshow in Lakeland. However, my visits & dining experiences there have always been very positive & pleasant. The owners, Tim & Paige Kirby, have always made me feel welcome & treated me in royal fashion. The staff are first rate. They are warm, cordial, friendly, & attentive to customers' needs & requests. The food is always great, no matter what I order. The pizza is awesome. The beer selection is vast & should appeal to just about anyone's taste. The outside dining & occasional live entertainment is definitely an added plus that appeals to many diners. And I love the restaurant decor, which compliments the aviation theme & atmosphere of the restaurant's name sake. My top ratings of The Flying Boat Tap Room are, in my opinion, spot on. I always look forward to my visits to the Ocala area, which affords me the opportunity to visit Tim & Paige & their fine restaurant. I wish them continued success!
