Loved the food and favor. Everything was a hit. Mgr Damon let us sample fruit punch they're working on can't wait for that to be on the menu. Desserts are homemade not jellomade.

Food was bland ,not any one of our party of 5'.s idea of great bbq,but the Mgr Damon was awesome in trying to make us happy.Pit master needs to revisit his flavor profiles. Fries and barria tacos were the best part of the visit

Finally, my husband and I got to visit Big Lee's BBQ. we were not disappointed. Ordered the rib plate and birra tacos. Our sides were fried okra, baked beans, street corn and a side order of the Kathy's Mac and cheese. The only complaint is the street corn needed more cheese and paprika but I'm used to street corn from San Antonio Texas. Everything else was perfect. If you want to eat great food from the guy who beat Bobby Flay, stop by Big Lee's or find their food truck. It's worth the stop

I love Big Lee's and been following Mr. Jones journey since food network. He is one of the very few things I liked about living in Ocala. On 4.10.24, after closing on my house I decided to treat myself and my out of town friend to birria tacos as I've been bragging about his food since being a regular at his food truck. We looked at the specials board outside and even though it wasn't Tuesday birria tacos were advertised with 1, 2, and 3 taco deals. We go in and order but the server stated they only serve them on Tuesday's and that the sign was in error as she tapped her nails awaiting my order. I do not know her name as she did not have a name tag on. The other server came to the rescue with a polite voice and attitude and I ordered rib plate and my friend the brisket with sides of Mac and cheese and fried okra. The group behind us however ordered tacos and that same server walked past our table with trays loaded with tacos purposely avoiding my gaze. As always the food was amazing and the first server came to offer a free side of Mac and cheese for us both stating she noticed that the Mac and cheese was not up to their standard, even though it was hot and very satisfying. I put a comment on their Instagram the moment this occurred and Rashad in true amazing fashion offered to make it right. Sadly though I'm relocating to Colorado and my friend back to Orlando so I cannot take him up on the offer but I am always in awe of his commitment to his customers. I still send everyone who asks for great BBQ to him and always will. Whenever I visit again I'll be sure to come on a Tuesday!

Tasty bbq and awesome staff!
I do wish it was seasoned more. They lean on the sauces, but the sauces were a good variety. The Mac and cheese leans too much on the cheese and needed seasoning. I should have got the fries. Coleslaw was yummy, and the bread was bread. Lol, the sweet tea was so sweet I split it with the unsweet
