Come along on a journey with me. Stepping beyond the door is akin to being transported to a different time and place, insulated from the clamor of the world. Whispering the password through the keyhole window is like uttering a spell that unlatches the lock to reveal a portal to another time. Once inside, the first sip of your beverage - crafted with skillful alchemy - will melt away the static of ordinary life.
That is The Thirsty Cobbler to me, and it is an experience unlike any other in Ocala. Your hosts are top notch and endeavor to ensure your time at The Thirsty Cobbler is enjoyable.

Checked out Thirsty Cobbler for drinks and it’s a really nice little bar to slow down for a bit. The vibe is cozy and a little “hidden gem” feeling, with low lighting and a relaxed crowd—good for talking without screaming over music. Cocktails were the highlight: balanced, not overly sweet, and they looked great too. Service was friendly, but when a few groups came in at once it took a bit longer to get the next round. Still, I’d go back for a chill night and a couple well-made drinks.

Went for my 4th time last night and it was as amazing as ever! We loved Alex and Jason last year, and LOVED getting to know Melissa aka Ginger last night! Such a warm, friendly, charming place! It's the best speakeasy I've ever been to! You have to check it out when in the Ocala area, it's worth the drive if you're farther away too! Spending a month in Florida this time and will be going every week for sure!

Delightful Speakeasy with a wonderful prohibition vibe. The Gin-ja who runs the joint is feisty, articulate and has wit. The mad scientist mixologist is reserved yet friendly. I just wish he didn't free pour. They make some pretty good drinks but they're missing about seven liquors and mixers to be a true craft cocktail bar. Nevertheless the charm factor alone is worth it. But if they lost Gin-ja it wouldn't be the same. -VanPort Insider

What a fun and exciting little speakeasy! The ambience really made you feel like you were back in the prohibition era during the 1920s. You’ll need a password to enter, and if you don’t have the correct one, you’ll definitely be turned away. Overall the prices are great; the drinks are superb, so do yourself a favor and have this experience.
