Stopped into O’Malley’s Alley downtown and it’s a solid Irish-pub kind of night. The place has that old-school bar feel with a big, comfortable space, and it’s easy to end up staying longer than you planned—especially if there’s live music going. Drinks were poured well and the bartenders were friendly once you got their attention. Food is classic pub stuff; oysters and snacks are the move if you’re sharing. Only downside is that when it’s busy it gets loud and crowded fast, and service can slow down a bit.

While I was happily surprised they still had corn beef and cabbage dinner still available at 6pm it was disappointing to pay $22 for 3 small slices of corn beef and two tiny potatoes. It was a great atmosphere and very lively of course for St Patrick’s Day but the meal didn’t give great value and mid taste. Meat was not as juicy as I expected it to be and slightly undercooked. The carrots tasted canned and the potatoes had the red boiled out of them. I really expected better for an Irish Pub on that day of all days! I may be back for the atmosphere alone with my girlfriends.

Hanging out on the back patio was very cool. The bartender was great (forgot his name) but he took great care of our group (10 of us) and made sure our drinks were full and we were sitting away from the bar. We ordered food and it was awesome. I had mudbugs (crawfish) and smoked fish dip. I will definitely make this place one of my must to stops.

My first time in and I started a tab with the bartender and gave him my card. At the end of the night I settled up and paid cash. Later that night I got a charge on my card for a tab that wasn’t mine. Tried to address it and got told I must’ve given your card back to someone else. Did not void the charge that was not mine so I’m out almost $60. Will not be back.

Nice place with great staff. Tons of whiskey's, and a decent selection of beer with 12 on tap. Live music daily at 10pm with a live dj in the outside patio daily. A couple of fun games, jukebox, punching machine for the drunk. Actually a really nice spot, pleasantly surprised.
