⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of Ocala’s Best BBQ Spots (maybe the best!)
Brick City Southern Kitchen nails it—every bite was phenomenal. Two of us had the BBQ Bacon Burger, easily one of the best burgers we’ve ever tasted—juicy, smoky, and bursting with flavor. The garlic cheddar grits were off the hook, the mashed sweet potatoes rich and velvety, and the spare ribs meaty and tender. Great Southern BBQ, cozy rustic atmosphere, and flawless execution across the board. Highly recommend.

5 stars isn’t enough for Brick City Southern Kitchen. We’ve hit a ton of barbecue spots across Florida and this one is easily at the top of the list. This is phenomenal food done right.
We kicked things off with the wings and got hit with that perfect crust and seasoning. Smoked just right, packed with flavor, and honestly didn’t even need sauce. That’s rare.
Then we dove into the pulled pork, ribs, onion rings, mac & cheese, and coleslaw. Every single item delivered. The ribs? Fall-off-the-bone tender and loaded with that deep smoky richness.
The onion rings were elite, crispy, seasoned beautifully, no soggy bites here. Even the sides were next level. Mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, coleslaw was fresh with the right crunch.
If you’re within driving distance, make the trip. This spot’s not just good, it’s a must.

Brought My wife and kids for dinner on a Monday evening, we got seated quickly, the lighting inside was rather dimly lit and the menus we received were dirty and greasy but drinks came out fast except my wife's cocktail it was a little slow to get. Ordered the Onion rings app and they were really good, and huge! They came with a ranch sauce for dipping. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Green beans and Corn, the Chicken was good it came smothered in a country gravy, the corn was fine but the Green beans were canned mush, the meal also included a jalapeno cornbread which was tasty and sweet. Overall I'd be willing to give it another try , they have a massive Whiskey selection I would like to sample and also other food items that sounded good. Wasn't disappointed but not wowed in any way either.

Lovely food! Amazing bbq place with great selection of tasty food. Try burn ends and spare ribs -it was just amazing! Service was good although the total environment looks little bit dark and unwelcoming. But good was great, service as well. Will come back if i have a chance

Great food, good service and a nice inside vibe. The Texas chili has a little bit of heat and is very tasty. I added the onions and cheese and a few pieces of chopped jalapeño. I don’t think it needed any additional heat. The fried pickles were good although the batter was a little salty and I’m normally a salt person. We thought they paired better with ranch than the comeback sauce that comes with them. Buttermilk Chicken was great. We split between two of us and it was plenty. Thanks for splitting the meal and sides in the kitchen with no up-charge. (We were charged extra for cheese and sour cream for the chili with no warning.) The sides of grits and black-eyed peas were okay, just nothing special. Our servers were great (one in-training) attentive and friendly without being overbearing.
We sat outside for lunch which is always our preference. I wish something could be added to the outside dining area to add a little character.
All in all, a positive experience. We may return to try something’s off the Bourbon wall.
