The menu sounded amazing, so we walked over after the Saturday market for some lunch. Upon entering, it smelled like dirty mop water. It was so overwhelming I didn't want to stay but my friends did. We sat down. There was a girl bartender and two men customers sitting at the bar. We waited forever to order drinks, and then she didn't have what my friend wanted and brought her something, not even comparable. We waited for her to take our order but she was too busy worrying about the sports on the TV for the two men. We got fed up and had to walk over to her, interrupting her cell phone conversation just so we could pay the bill and leave.

Love Black Sheep! Best service in town! And friendliest staff! Love the menu....recently added a great salad and club sandwich. Love being able to try 2 different small sandwich options and not feel overwhelmed. Must try the zucchini fries! So good! Also love the feta burger!

I went for the burlesque show last night, the show was pretty awesome, we didn't stay for the whole thing because our service was horrendous. Being a bartender I still tipped 20% which I really should not have at all honestly, but man some people like to go out spend some money and have a good time. We came in, sat at the bar, I was approached automatically for a drink, my friend had went to the restroom, when she came back to sit down we waited about 15 mins at least before she was offered or approached for anything. After that we waited 45 mins before we were even asked if we wanted food, or anything. I got the steak, rare, came out medium. I didn't even want to say anything about the steak cause my service and experience was already horrible from the beginning. I asked one girl to grab our bartenders attention, she did, and I watched as the bartender waved us off. After that our service of course even went more down hill. I don't mind spending money but I'm not going to sit somewhere I can't get decent service.

The place has an awful, overwhelming stale beer smell. Kitchen looked very dirty. I noticed one kitchen worker vaping in the kitchen. Our service was good, food was OK. Don't think we will go back as it was overall too dirty looking ro trust how they are preparing and serving the food

We visited The Black Sheep in Ocala with my family and were disappointed by the service. There were two young ladies working, and it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did, my son's order was incorrect. The staff never checked on us, forcing me to look for them three times—once for napkins, once for a drink refill that never came after a 30-minute wait, and finally to request my son’s burger to-go because of the delay. When the bill arrived, we were overcharged for three expensive burgers even though only I ordered one. When I questioned the charge, the server said it was the only way she could ring it up and was dismissive when I asked for a manager who never appeared. It was almost 10 pm by then, and with my son needing to sleep, I just paid the extra charge after they offered a small $4 discount, which didn’t cover the full difference. The whole experience made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers.
The worst part is to have them acknowledge that my son and wife order the basic burger and still be told that they would charge us for the more expensive one. I have never in my life heard of a restaurant show you prices and then charge you more just because crazy!
